Intended Audience: This workshop is designed for industry professionals in the fields of biostatistics, statistical programming and data science who is having basic R programming knowledge.


Participant Prerequisites and Setup Instructions
Please complete the following setup before attending the workshop so you can participate in the hands-on R Shiny dashboard build without installation delays.

1. Software Requirements
• Install the latest stable version of R from CRAN
• Install RStudio Desktop / Posit IDE and confirm that it opens successfully
• Use a laptop with administrator rights or pre-approved permissions to install R packages
• Ensure internet access is available for package installation and downloading workshop files

2. Required R Packages
Install the following packages before the session:
• shiny — core framework for building interactive R applications
• shinydashboard — dashboard layout, sidebar, header, and body components
• tidyverse — data manipulation, preparation, and plotting support

3. Workshop Files and Data
• Download or access the workshop code folder shared by the instructor before the session
• Ensure the CDISC Pilot Study data or dummy clinical trial datasets are available locally
